What does "the storm passes by" mean?
There is a strong storm signal somewhere within 100 km, but not directly over the chosen town. The radar below shows which direction and how far — that answers "will it hit me or pass to the side".
What does the percentage chance mean?
It combines the model's signal strength with the hourly precipitation probability. Under 20% — calm. 30–45% — a real chance. Above 45% — a strong signal worth tracking.
How do I read the 15-minute bar chart?
Each bar is 15 minutes. Height and colour show signal strength at that moment: grey/calm, blue/weak, orange/medium, red/strong. A white outline marks the predicted start time.
How do I read the circular radar?
Two rings (30 km and 100 km) split into 16 directions, with the town at the centre. Wedge colour shows signal strength from that direction and distance — the same data as the bar chart, laid out in space instead of time.
